The Sierra Nevada Balalaika Society:

The Sierra Nevada Balalaika Society is dedicated to the perpetuation of music written for the balalaika, domra, and related instruments. Our goal is to preserve the musical and cultural heritage of Eastern Europe, while educating our youth and community to the magnificence of a distinctive culture. 

These web pages provide information on the members and organization of the Sierra Nevada Balalaika Society, on the instruments and music we play, and on upcoming performances by the Society's balalaika and domra orchestra. 

The Sierra Nevada Balalaika Society is based in Reno, Nevada, and is an affiliate of the Balalaika and Domra Association of America. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit tax-exempt corporation in Nevada.

September Performance
We'll be appearing at the National Auto Museum on Saturday, Sept. 20, at 12:30 and 3:00 p.m. as part of the entertainment for "Kid's Stuff Saturday".
